James Gunn Reveals Why He Refuses to Work with some Actors

James Gunn's working relationship with beloved collaborators has long been documented.

Sean, the filmmaker's brother to the likes of Michael Rooker and Nathan Fillion, has appeared in virtually every project he's made.

On the other hand, the director said on Saturday not to work with some actors as they have a bad temper.

"If it's their mood and it's serious, I'll rebuild immediately,"

He continued, saying that there are times where it's great to work with actors,

Their performances do not always meet the standards required for the respective productions.

In addition, the director says he conducts extensive background checks on actors he works with as well as production executives.

Gunn said he will be contacting people in Hollywood to see if he will collaborate with anyone.

"I generally do an expected level of effort on entertainers and creation heads with chiefs, entertainers, makers, and team individuals I trust.

Some actors that I already know, would never even consider it.

Guardians of the Galaxy is planned to be released in theaters on May 35, 2023, while the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special has yet to set a release date.
